The ingredients needed to make Focaccia:
  1. Make ready 2 cups flour
  2. Take 2 tablespoons nido milk powder
  3. Prepare 1 tablespoon sugar
  4. Make ready 1 packet yeast
  5. Take 1 tsp salt
  6. Get 3 tablespoons oil
  7. Take 1/2 cup warm milk
  8. Take 1/2 cup warm water more or less

Focaccia Market Bakery. (Chef's Note: This may seem excessive, but focaccia is an oily crusted bread. This is why it is soooooooooo delicious!). Put the dough onto the Liberally sprinkle the top of the focaccia with some coarse sea salt and lightly drizzle a little oil on top. Bake the dough until the top of the loaf is golden.

Instructions to make Focaccia:
  1. Place all the dry ingredients (flour, nido milk powder, sugar, yeast, salt) in a bowl.
  2. Add in the oil and rub in.
  3. Make a soft dough with milk and enough water. Allow to rise and punch down. Roll out to desired thickness and place on a greased tray.
  4. Allow to rest for 10-15 min. Brush with olive oil or melted garlic butter, sprinkle dried herbs and fine salt and press olives and feta cheese into the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 min or longer for a crispier texture

Focaccia is a blank canvas for delicious toppings, so feel free to experiment and get creative. This classic recipe's got fresh rosemary leaves (which get crisp like little herb chips in the oven!) and crunchy sea salt. But you could add sesame seeds, cheese, olives, sun-dried tomatoes.
